FAQ

What is the difference between techno and trance?
Techno is driven mainly by rhythm and repetition and needs little melody. Trance, on the other hand, relies on melodies, wide synthesizer pads and long breakdowns that build tension – which usually makes it sound more euphoric.

Why is techno mostly released on 12"?
The tracks are released mainly for DJs. On a 12" the grooves have more room, which allows a louder level and more bass – ideal for the club.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
