FAQ

What is the difference between darkwave and gothic rock?
Both emerged in the early 80s from post-punk and new wave. Gothic rock is guitar-driven, e.g. The Sisters Of Mercy or Bauhaus. Darkwave stands more for the dark, often synth-heavy side of the scene – up to ethereal sounds like those of Dead Can Dance.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
