Description

Motörhead – Another Perfect Day is Motörhead's sixth studio album, released in May 1983 on Bronze in the UK and on Mercury in the US. It was recorded in February and March 1983 at Olympic and Eel Pie Studios in London and produced and mixed by Tony Platt. It is the only studio album with former Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson, who had replaced "Fast" Eddie Clarke; his more melodic playing shapes the sound of the record. The album reached No. 20 in the UK charts. This copy is the US edition on Mercury (cat. no. 811 365-1 M-1) with original inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Catalogue number 811 365-1 M-1 is that of the US edition on Mercury, released in 1983. The first UK edition came out on Bronze (BRON 546).

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use, on the record e.g. faint marks that are barely noticeable when playing. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Why is the running order different from the UK LP?
The US Mercury edition has its own running order: side A opens with I Got Mine, side B with Back At The Funny Farm, which opens the UK LP.

Do you have more Motörhead records?
Yes, for example Motörhead – Iron Fist from 1982 and the picture disc Motörhead – Orgasmatron from 1986. More titles are in our Metal collection.
