FAQ

What is the difference between new wave and post-punk?
Both grew out of punk in the late 70s. Post-punk is usually darker and more experimental – think Joy Division, Siouxsie And The Banshees or The Sound. New wave tends to be more melodic and poppy, often with synthesizers, as with Blondie, The Cars or Talking Heads. The boundaries are fluid.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
