Description

OMD – Dazzle Ships was released in 1983 on Virgin / Telegraph and is the boldest, most experimental album by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark. Melodic synth-pop such as “Genetic Engineering” and “Telegraph” sits alongside collages of radio broadcasts, voice recordings and musique concrète such as “Radio Prague” and “Time Zones”. Divisive at the time, it is now a cult album, packaged in a Peter Saville design.

On offer is the EU original pressing from 1983 on Virgin / Telegraph (205 295 / 205 295-320).
