Altın Gün – On (Vinyl LP | SUI Original | 2018)

Altın Gün – On is the debut album by the Amsterdam band Altın Gün, released on 30 March 2018 on the Geneva label Les Disques Bongo Joe. The Dutch-Turkish group reworks Anatolian folk songs and 1970s Turkish pop with bağlama, organ and vocals over psychedelic funk grooves. Four of the ten songs were written by Neşet Ertaş, alongside a song by Orhan Gencebay (“Goca Dünya”) and traditional pieces. The album was mixed by Jacco Gardner. This copy is the original 2018 Swiss edition on black vinyl, new and factory sealed.
