FAQ
What does DMM mean?
DMM stands for Direct Metal Mastering. The groove is cut directly into a copper disc instead of a lacquer, which removes one step in making the pressing stampers.
Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in the US. This copy is a 1985 French reissue pressed by Pathé Marconi EMI, remastered using DMM, with the same catalogue number BST 84291.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Bobby Hutcherson records?
Only this one at the moment. From Chick Corea, who plays piano here, we have for example Chick Corea – Return To Forever. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
