FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, it is a 1981 Italian pressing on Factory (FACT 40), pressed by Base Record in Bologna – recognisable by the black label reading “A Fractured Music · A Factory Record”, “1/8/81” and “made in Italy”.

What is the “wrong master”?
Some Italian pressings used the wrong master: side 1 plays the studio version of “Digital” instead of “Glass”, and on side 2 “Walked In Line” and “Dead Souls” are swapped – even though sleeve and label show the normal order. These copies usually carry the matrix “FACT 40 1” / “FACT 40 2”. The only sure test is listening.

Why is “Twenty Four Hours” missing from the sleeve?
The track plays on side 3 but was not listed on the sleeve or label.

What does Media NM- / Sleeve VG+ mean?
