Description
Larry Coryell with John Scofield and Joe Beck – Tributaries is an album for three acoustic guitars, released in 1979 in Arista's Novus series (cat. no. AN 3017). It was recorded in August and September 1979 at Soundmixers in New York, produced by Michael Cuscuna. Coryell plays most pieces as a trio with Scofield and Beck, plus duets and one solo; alongside the guitarists' own compositions are Bobby Hutcherson's "Little B's Poem" and John Coltrane's "Equinox".
