FAQ

What is the difference between punk and hardcore?
Punk emerged in the mid-70s in New York and London, with bands like the Ramones, Sex Pistols and The Clash. Hardcore developed in the early 80s, mainly in the US – faster, harder and with shorter songs, for example Black Flag, Minor Threat or Dead Kennedys.

Do you have new and used punk records?
Yes. This collection has current releases and reissues, factory sealed, as well as used pressings. Country, label and year are listed in each record's description.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
