The Pogues - Red Roses For Me (Vinyl LP | DE Original | 1984)

The Pogues – Red Roses For Me is the Pogues' debut album, released in 1984 on Stiff Records. Irish folk tradition collides with punk energy: Shane MacGowan's rough voice over wild Celtic instrumentation on songs like “Transmetropolitan”, “Streams Of Whiskey”, “Dark Streets Of London” and “The Auld Triangle”. A milestone of Celtic punk.

On offer is the German original pressing from 1984 on Stiff Records (SEEZ 55 / 6.26059).
