Description

Wayne Shorter – Atlantis is an album by saxophonist and composer Wayne Shorter, released in 1985 on Columbia, and in Europe on CBS (cat. no. CBS 26669). It was his first solo album since "Native Dancer" (1975), made after his years with Weather Report. It was recorded in Los Angeles in 1985, mostly at Crystal Studios in Hollywood; Shorter produced it himself with George Butler as executive producer. Alongside Shorter's own tunes are pieces by Joseph Vitarelli and Edgy Lee. This copy is the 1985 European original pressing with original inner sleeve.
