Description

Wayne Shorter – Speak No Evil is saxophonist Wayne Shorter's sixth album, recorded on December 24, 1964 at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, produced by Alfred Lion and engineered by Rudy Van Gelder; the original (BST 84194) was released in June 1966. Shorter, then in his first year with the Miles Davis Quintet, plays six of his own compositions with Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Elvin Jones; "Infant Eyes" became a standard. This copy is a 1978 Japanese reissue (cat. no. GXK 8077, King Records) with insert, without OBI.
