FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1980 German first edition on ECM with catalogue number ECM 1174.

Is this a jazz album?
Only in part. Jarrett does not improvise here; he plays the written hymns by Gurdjieff and de Hartmann. The music is calm and meditative and closer to sacred and chamber music than to jazz.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Keith Jarrett records?
Yes, for example Keith Jarrett – Hymns / Spheres, Invocations / The Moth And The Flame or Solo Concerts: Bremen / Lausanne. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
