Die Ärzte on Vinyl

Die Ärzte formed in Berlin in 1982 and are among the most successful German-language bands of all time. Farin Urlaub and Bela B. combine punk with pop, humour and self-irony, and like to call themselves “die beste Band der Welt” (the best band in the world). Key albums include “Debil” (1984), “Im Schatten der Ärzte” (1985), “Planet Punk” (1995) and “13” (1998).

Here you'll find Die Ärzte records, mainly German original pressings from the 80s, the 90s vinyl editions (some as double 10-inch), 7-inch singles as well as newer albums and reissues. Every used record is graded to the Goldmine standard, and the photos show the actual copy.

FAQ about Die Ärzte

Which Die Ärzte records are from the early period?
Up to the band's temporary split in 1988, releases included the EP “Uns geht's prima...” (1984) and the albums “Debil” (1984), “Im Schatten der Ärzte” (1985) and “Das ist nicht die ganze Wahrheit...” (1988), plus the compilation “Ist das alles?” (1987). The band returned in 1993.

Are old Die Ärzte records valuable?
Most sought after are well-preserved original pressings from the 80s and the 90s vinyl editions, which back then were usually released in much smaller quantities than the CD. What matters is the condition of the record and sleeve and whether the inserts are complete. More on this in the guide How to Spot Valuable Vinyl Records.
