FAQ

What does world music mean?
World music is an umbrella term that became established in record retail in the late 80s. It covers traditional and popular music outside Anglo-American pop – from West African kora music and Arabic classics such as Oum Kalthoum to Astor Piazzolla's tango nuevo.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
