FAQ

Who was Y.K. Ajao?
Yekini Kolawole Ajao from Iseyin was one of Nigeria's well-known juju musicians. Inspired by I.K. Dairo, he formed his Professional Brothers Band in 1973 and released many albums, such as “Oro Nepa” (1982) and “Juju Makosa Calculation” (1991). He died aged 72.

Is this the original pressing?
According to our stock description this is a 1990 Nigerian original pressing. Nigerian juju LPs were usually pressed only locally and in small numbers.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means both record and sleeve show light wear; the record may have faint surface noise that hardly affects playback. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Y.K. Ajao records?
This is currently our only Y.K. Ajao record. More African titles are in our Afrobeat and World collections.
