Description
Eno – Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) is Brian Eno's second solo album, following "Here Come the Warm Jets". It was recorded in September 1974 at Island Studios in London with a small core band of Phil Manzanera, Brian Turrington, Freddie Smith and Robert Wyatt; during the sessions Eno used the "Oblique Strategies" cards he developed with Peter Schmidt. The loose concept album about espionage, the Chinese revolution and dream imagery was released on Island in November 1974. This copy is the UK original pressing (ILPS 9309) in a gatefold sleeve with original inner sleeve.
