Description
Frank Zappa – Zappa In New York is a live double album recorded at Zappa's New York shows in 1976 – at the Felt Forum over Halloween and at the Palladium between Christmas and New Year. Alongside Terry Bozzio, Ray White, Eddie Jobson and Ruth Underwood, a horn section featuring Randy and Michael Brecker, Lou Marini, Ronnie Cuber and Tom Malone joins the band. The album mixes rock, jazz fusion and satire, as in “Titties & Beer”, “The Black Page” and “The Illinois Enema Bandit”. On offer is the UK original pressing on Discreet (K 69204, distributed by WEA) in a gatefold sleeve.
