Ginhouse - Ginhouse (Vinyl LP | DE Original | 1971)

Ginhouse – Ginhouse is the only album by British rock band Ginhouse, released in 1971 on B&C in the UK and on Philips in Germany. The trio blends heavy blues rock with progressive elements and even covers the Beatles' "And I Love Her". On offer is the German original pressing in its unusual gatefold sleeve: the inside right panel is die-cut and the record sits behind the lower flap.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes – the German first pressing from 1971 on Philips (6369 006). The UK edition came out on B&C Records (CAS 1031); later vinyl reissues include Akarma and Long Hair.

What is special about the sleeve?
The gatefold has a die-cut inside right panel with the record held behind the lower flap – an elaborate design that many copies did not survive undamaged.

What does media VG+ / sleeve G+ mean?
The record shows light signs of use; the sleeve is clearly worn (here: damage inside) but complete. Details on our Vinyl Grading page.
