FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the 1985 UK first edition on Jahmani (JMI 601). A 7" version of the single also exists.

Why are the tracks so long?
Both titles are pressed as extended versions: “I Do” runs about nine and a half minutes, “Ancient Lover” almost six and a half. The 12" format at 45 RPM leaves room for that while keeping sound quality.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
Media VG+ means: light wear, with at most faint surface noise on playback. Cover VG+ means: light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Ijahman Levi records?
Yes, for example Ijahman Levi & Friends – Ijahman & Friends (LP, 1988). More titles are in our Reggae, Ska & Dub collection.
