Paul Hardcastle - 19 The Final Story (Vinyl 12" | EU Original | 1985)

Paul Hardcastle – 19 (The Final Story) is the extended maxi version of his 1985 anti-war hit. Hardcastle built the track from news and interview snippets about the Vietnam War – with the key message that the average age of the soldiers was 19 – over a hypnotic electro groove with the famous stutter effect. A big international hit and a pioneering piece of sampling.

On offer is the 1985 EU original pressing on Chrysalis (601 814) as a 12" maxi single at 45 RPM in stereo.
