Pungent Stench - For God Your Soul ... For Me Your Flesh (White Splatter Vinyl LP | DE Reissue | 1991)

Pungent Stench – For God Your Soul... For Me Your Flesh is the debut album by Vienna death metal band Pungent Stench, released on April 9, 1990 on Nuclear Blast (cat. no. NB 029). It was recorded in December 1989 at Masterplan Studios and produced by the band together with Gregor Znord and Stephan Grujic. The cover features a photograph by Joel-Peter Witkin. Because the original master tapes were lost, three songs were re-recorded for the 1993 reissue; this record still has the original recordings. This copy is a limited 1991 German repress on white splatter vinyl with original inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first edition came out in 1990 on black vinyl. This copy is a limited 1991 repress on white splatter vinyl with the same catalogue number NB 029; it was limited to 1,000 copies.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that have little or no effect on playback. The sleeve is graded VG and shows shelf wear; the hype sticker is still present. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

How do I recognise the white splatter edition?
By the colour of the vinyl: white splatter. There is also a clear splatter edition that differs only in vinyl colour.

Do you have more Pungent Stench records?
This is currently our only Pungent Stench record. More death metal titles are in our Metal collection, coloured pressings under Limited & Colored Vinyl.
