Supertramp – Crime Of The Century is the British band's third album, released in 1974 and produced by Ken Scott together with Supertramp. "School", "Bloody Well Right" and "Dreamer" gave the band its breakthrough, and the blend of art rock and the pop melodies of Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson is still considered a classic. On offer is the European half-speed mastered edition from 1980 in the CBS Mastersound series (HAM2 / HSP 3647).

Is this the original pressing?
No – the album was first released in 1974. This is the European audiophile reissue from 1980 with half-speed mastering.

What does "half-speed mastered" mean?
When the lacquer is cut, the master tape and the cutting lathe run at half speed. This is meant to transfer fine detail and dynamics more accurately to the record – which is why such editions are popular with hi-fi collectors.

What does Media NM- / Sleeve VG+ mean?
