FAQ

Is this an original pressing?
Yes. It is the 1987 European 12" on Line Records, a contemporary release. The UK first edition came out on Rough Trade.

Who is on the cover?
Elvis Presley. The photo was taken in 1955 and is considered one of his first press shots. The Smiths often used images of film and pop stars on their single sleeves.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
For the record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. For the sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Smiths records?
Yes, for example The Queen Is Dead, Strangeways, Here We Come and the compilation The World Won't Listen. More in our Indie Rock collection.
