Description

A.R. – AR3 is the third album Achim Reichel released under the initials A.R., after "Die grüne Reise" (1971) and "Echo" (1972) with A.R. & Machines. It came out in 1972 on the Zebra label (cat. no. 2949 006, distributed by Polydor). It was recorded and mixed at Tonstudio Maschen, with "Die Eigentümer der Welt" recorded at Windrose-Dumont-Time in Hamburg. The former Rattles member plays his echo guitar on almost every track, combined with German lyrics by Frank Dostal. This copy is the 1972 German original pressing with original inner sleeves.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1972 German first issue on Zebra with catalogue number 2949 006.

What does "cut out" on the cover mean?
Cut-out copies were marked by a retailer or distributor as remainder stock, usually with a small hole, a notch or a clipped corner on the sleeve. The record itself is not affected.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear, here in addition to the cut-out mark. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Achim Reichel records?
Yes, for example Achim Reichel – Autovision, Achim Reichel – Erholung or Achim Reichel – Melancholie Und Sturmflut. More titles are in our Krautrock collection.
