Description

Acid – Acid is the debut album by Belgian heavy metal band Acid, fronted by singer Kate De Lombaert. It was recorded at Kritz Studio in Kuurne, produced by Luc Van den Bossche, and released in 1983 on the Belgian label Giant Records (listed as 6711 on the sleeve). The band performed under pseudonyms such as Demon, Dizzy Lizzy, T-Bone and Anvill and played fast, raw metal that is now counted among early European speed metal. This copy is the 1983 Belgian original pressing.

Yes. It is the 1983 Belgian first edition on Giant Records with catalogue number G 711 on the labels.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that hardly affect the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Why does the sleeve say 6711 and the label G 711?
Both refer to the same Giant Records release. The labels print the catalogue number as G 711, the sleeve as 6711.
