Description
Aisha – Profecy is a 12" single by British roots reggae singer Aisha on Mad Professor's Ariwa label (cat. no. ARI 60), released in May 1987. It was recorded at Ariwa Studio in London and produced by Mad Professor. Aisha (Pamela Ross, born 1962 in Wolverhampton) sang backing vocals with the band Capital Letters from 1979 and went solo in 1984; her debut album High Priestess followed on Ariwa in 1988. The B-side, “Mosiah Dub”, is a dub version by Ariwa's studio band The Robotiks. This copy is the 1987 UK original pressing.

FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes. The single was released in 1987 in the UK on Ariwa with catalogue number ARI 60, and that is the edition offered here.
What is on the B-side?
“Mosiah Dub” by The Robotiks, Mad Professor's studio band. As on many Ariwa singles, the flip side carries a dub version instead of a second vocal track.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear; WOC means “writing on cover”, here light pen marks and writing on the inside. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Aisha records?
This is currently our only Aisha record. Also on Ariwa we have Macka B – We've Had Enough!; more titles are in our Reggae, Ska & Dub collection.
