Description

Alice in Chains – Alice in Chains is the third studio album by the Seattle band and the last with singer Layne Staley. It was recorded from April to August 1995 at Bad Animals Studio in Seattle, produced by Toby Wright and the band, released by Columbia in late October/early November 1995, and debuted at number one on the US album chart. Because of the three-legged dog on the cover it is often called "Tripod". The singles were "Grind", "Heaven Beside You" and "Again". This copy is the limited 2026 EU 30th anniversary reissue as a double LP on yellow "highlighter" vinyl.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album was released in 1995. This double LP is the limited 30th anniversary edition, released in Europe in 2026.

Why is the album called "Tripod"?
The cover shows a three-legged dog. Drummer Sean Kinney suggested "Tripod" as the title, but the band chose to self-title the album; the nickname stuck with fans anyway.

Is the record new?
Yes, this copy is new and factory sealed.

Do you have more Alice in Chains records?
Yes, for example Alice In Chains – Dirt (2LP, 30th Anniversary). More titles are in our Alternative Rock collection.
