Amon Düül II – Made In Germany (Vinyl 2LP | DE Original | 1975)

Amon Düül II – Made In Germany is a studio concept album by the Munich band Amon Düül II, released as a double LP on Nova in 1975. In a tongue-in-cheek, cabaret-like tone it tells episodes of German history and shows the band with tighter, more pop-leaning songs than on their early psychedelic records. In the US, Atco issued only a shortened single LP with a different cover. On offer is the German original pressing of the double LP from 1975 in a gatefold sleeve with insert.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1975 German first edition of the double LP on Nova with catalogue number 6.28 350 DX.

Is Made In Germany a live album?
No. It is a studio album, a kind of rock opera about German history. The US edition on Atco was a single LP with only twelve tracks; the complete version exists only on the German double LP.

What does media NM- / sleeve VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the records are close to new with at most minimal traces. VG+ (Very Good plus) for the sleeve means light signs of use, well preserved overall. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
