Ash Ra Tempel - Rosi (Vinyl LP | DE Original | 1973)

Ash Ra Tempel – Rosi (titled "Starring Rosi" on the cover) was released in 1973 on Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser's label Kosmische Musik. Manuel Göttsching puts singer Rosi Müller centre stage; the album is more melodic and song-oriented than the band's early, long improvisations. It was recorded in July/August 1973 at Dierks Studios in Stommeln. On offer is the German original pressing from 1973 (KM 58.007) in quadraphonic form.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, this is the German first edition from 1973 on Kosmische Musik (KM 58.007). One way to identify it is the stamped matrix "SQ ST KM 58 007 0664 411 S1" / "… S2" in the run-out groove. More tips on spotting originals can be found in our Krautrock guide.

What is special about Kosmische Musik?
Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser's label released only a handful of records from the circle of Ash Ra Tempel, Klaus Schulze and the Cosmic Jokers in the early 70s, so originals are much sought after.
