Description
Avishai Cohen, Big Vicious – Big Vicious is the debut album by Big Vicious, the band led by Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen, released on March 27, 2020 on ECM Records (cat. no. ECM 2680). It was recorded in August 2019 at Studios La Buissonne in Pernes-les-Fontaines and produced by Manfred Eicher. With two guitars, two drummers and electronics, the band blends jazz with rock, ambient and electronic music; besides originals it plays versions of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" and Massive Attack's "Teardrop". This copy is the 2020 German original pressing.
