Description

Blind Guardian – Somewhere Far Beyond is the fourth studio album by Krefeld power metal band Blind Guardian, released in June 1992 on Virgin. It was recorded from February to May 1992 at Karo Studios and produced by Kalle Trapp. It is best known for the two-part "The Bard's Song", whose second part "The Hobbit" draws on Tolkien and earned the band the nickname "The Bards"; Kai Hansen plays a guitar solo on "The Quest For Tanelorn". Yes. This is the 1992 European first edition on Virgin with catalogue number 213 066 (213 066-8 on the inner sleeve).

Are songs missing on the LP compared to the CD?
Yes. The bonus tracks "Spread Your Wings", "Trial By Fire" and "Theatre Of Pain (Classic Version)" appear on every edition except the vinyl LP. The LP has the ten regular tracks.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) on the record means light signs of play that barely affect listening. On the sleeve, VG+ means light wear but overall good condition. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
