Description

Blue Box – Sweet Machine is an album by the German jazz trio Blue Box with bassist Aloys Kott, drummer Peter Eisold and trumpeter Reiner Winterschladen, released in 1985 on Enja Records (cat. no. enja 5001). It was digitally recorded and mixed on June 20 and 21, 1985 at Tonstudio Bauer in Ludwigsburg, engineered by Carlos Albrecht and produced by Matthias Winckelmann and Stefan Winter. The unusual line-up without a chordal instrument combines trumpet, bass and electronic drums into a mix of jazz-rock and jazz-funk. This copy is a 1985 German original pressing.
