FAQ

Is this a studio or a live recording?
A live recording: every track comes from the concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 13, 1977. So these are not orchestral versions of old Blue Note classics, but a concert by three of the label's artists of the time.

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, this is the 1978 US first edition on Blue Note with catalogue number BN-LA870-H, in a gatefold sleeve.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG mean?
Record: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that hardly affect playback or appearance. Sleeve: VG (Very Good) means clear signs of wear, but fully intact. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more records by these artists?
Yes, for example Bobby Hutcherson – Total Eclipse and, by Earl Klugh, Wishful Thinking and Soda Fountain Shuffle. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
