Released in 1982 to accompany George Miller's post-apocalyptic masterpiece "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior", this soundtrack was composed by Brian May - not the Queen guitarist, but the Australian composer and conductor of the same name. The score masterfully blends orchestral tension with electronic textures, perfectly capturing the desolate, high-octane world of the Wasteland. The German pressing on Celine Records (CL 0013) is a sought-after collector's item, featuring the full original score.
