Cassandra Wilson – New Moon Daughter is an album by singer Cassandra Wilson, released in 1995 on Blue Note and produced by Craig Street. It was recorded at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock and in New York, among other places. Alongside her own songs such as "Solomon Sang", Wilson interprets songs from very different backgrounds: "Strange Fruit", U2's "Love Is Blindness", Son House's "Death Letter", Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", the Monkees' "Last Train To Clarksville" and Neil Young's "Harvest Moon". The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard jazz chart and won her a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Performance. This copy is the 2015 reissue as a double LP on 180g vinyl (remastered), including the bonus track "32-20".

No. The album was first released in 1995. This double LP is a 2015 reissue from Blue Note's 75th anniversary series, remastered and on 180g vinyl.

What is "32-20"?
A blues by Robert Johnson that Wilson also recorded. It is not on the original edition and is included on this double LP as an extra track on side D.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
