Description

Charly Antolini – Drum Beat is an album by Swiss drummer Charly Antolini with an eight-piece band led by pianist, organist and arranger Dieter Reith. It was recorded on June 12, 1966 at the Villingen studio in the Black Forest, engineered by Rolf Donner, and first released on SABA in 1966. The programme includes three Dieter Reith compositions, Horace Silver's The Preacher, Henry Mancini's Cheers and the drum feature Drum-Pet. The music sits between hard bop and soul jazz, with punchy horn arrangements and Reith's Hammond organ. This copy is a German reissue on MPS Records in a gatefold sleeve.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
