Creation Rebel / New Age Steppers – Threat To Creation is a joint dub album by the two London projects from the circle of Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound label, released in 1981 on Cherry Red (cat. no. B RED 21). It was produced by Adrian Sherwood and recorded at Berry Street, The Manor and Free Range studios. According to the sleeve it was planned as On-U Sound LP no. 7 but never came out there and was licensed to Cherry Red instead. The musicians include Crucial Tony, Ari Up of The Slits, Keith Levene of Public Image Ltd. and Bruce Smith of The Pop Group, linking dub with British post-punk. This copy is a 1981 UK original pressing.
