Description

Das EFX – Straight Up Sewaside is the second album by the New York duo of Dray and Skoob, released on November 16, 1993 by EastWest. After the debut Dead Serious (1992) with its "-iggedy" rhyme style, this record sounds harder and more stripped-down; it was mainly produced by Solid Scheme, with PMD of EPMD as executive producer. The album reached No. 20 on the Billboard 200; the singles were "Freakit" and "Baknaffek". This copy is the 2019 European Music On Vinyl reissue on black 180 g vinyl, new and factory sealed.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album was released in 1993 by EastWest. This copy is the 2019 Music On Vinyl edition with catalogue number MOVLP2349 on black 180 g vinyl.

Is the record new?
The record is new and still in its original shrink wrap, i.e. unplayed. That is why there is no Goldmine grade; the grades for used records are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Is there a coloured edition?
Yes. In 2022 Music On Vinyl issued an edition on silver vinyl limited to 2000 numbered copies: Das EFX – Straight Up Sewaside (Silver Vinyl, 2022).

Do you have more Das EFX records?
Apart from the silver edition we currently have no other Das EFX titles. More nineties rap is in our Hip Hop collection.
