Deep Purple – In Rock was released in 1970 and was the first studio album by the classic Mark II line-up of Gillan, Blackmore, Lord, Glover and Paice. It stands for heavy riffing, walls of organ and virtuoso interplay and is regarded as a hard rock milestone. Highlights are Speed King, Child In Time and Flight Of The Rat.
