Deep Purple - The Book Of Taliesyn (Vinyl LP | DE Reissue | Gatefold)

Deep Purple – The Book Of Taliesyn is the band's second studio album, originally released in 1968 – recorded by the early Mark I line-up with Rod Evans on vocals. Psychedelic and early prog rock centred on Jon Lord's organ, plus idiosyncratic covers of “Kentucky Woman”, “We Can Work It Out” and “River Deep, Mountain High”. The instrumental “Wring That Neck” later became a live classic.

On offer is a German reissue on Harvest (1C 062-04 000) in stereo, in a gatefold sleeve.
