Depeche Mode – 101 (Vinyl 2LP | EU Reissue | 180g | 2017)

Depeche Mode – 101 is Depeche Mode's first live album, recorded on 18 June 1988 at the final concert of the Music For The Masses tour at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, in front of more than 60,000 people. The title refers to it being the 101st show of the tour. The double album was released on 13 March 1989 on Mute (STUMM 101), produced by Depeche Mode, alongside D. A. Pennebaker's concert film of the same name. Its four sides hold 17 songs from 1981 to 1987, from "Just Can't Get Enough" to "Never Let Me Down Again". This copy is the 2017 European reissue on 180 g vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album was first released in 1989. This copy is the 2017 European reissue on 180 g vinyl with gatefold sleeve and original inner sleeves.

Is "Personal Jesus" on the album?
No. "Personal Jesus" was only released in August 1989 as the lead single for "Violator" and is not on "101". The setlist covers the years from "Speak & Spell" to "Music For The Masses".

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
Media NM-: the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. Cover VG+: the sleeve shows light wear and is still in its original shrink-wrap. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
