Description
Depeche Mode – Little 15 is the fourth and final single from the album “Music For The Masses” (1987). Written by Martin L. Gore and arranged by Alan Wilder around orchestral samples, it was recorded in 1987 at Konk Studios in London and mixed at Puk Studios in Denmark, produced by Depeche Mode and David Bascombe. The single came out in May 1988 in selected countries only and reached number 16 in West Germany. On the B-side Alan Wilder plays solo piano: the instrumental “St. Jarna” and Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”. This copy is a 1988 Belgian 12" pressing on Indisc/Mute.

FAQ
Which album is “Little 15” from?
It is the fifth track on “Music For The Masses” (1987). It was only released as a single in May 1988, and not in every country.
What is on the B-side?
Two piano pieces played solo by Alan Wilder: the instrumental “St. Jarna” (meant to read “Stjärna”, Swedish for star) and his take on the first movement of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 14, the “Moonlight Sonata”. The latter only appears on the 12" and CD single.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+, minimal crease mean?
For the record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new, with at most minimal signs of use. For the sleeve, VG+ stands for light wear – details are listed under Condition above. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Depeche Mode records?
Yes, from the same album era for example Strangelove (12", orange transparent), Never Let Me Down Again (12") and the album Music For The Masses (blue vinyl). More in our Synth-Pop collection.
