Diamanda Galas - You Must Be Certain Of The Devil (Vinyl LP)

Diamanda Galás – You Must Be Certain Of The Devil is the third part of her trilogy “Masque Of The Red Death” after “The Divine Punishment” and “Saint Of The Pit”, produced in 1987 at Studio Hansa in Berlin and released by Mute in 1988. The avant-garde artist turns spirituals such as “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” and “Let My People Go” into a dark, intense lament. On offer is the German original pressing on Mute (INT 146.839, STUMM 46) at 45 RPM with original inner sleeve.
