FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1983 German first edition on Enja, cat. no. enja 4030. The later CD edition contains additional tracks that are not on the LP.
Why two names?
The pianist became known as Dollar Brand and took the name Abdullah Ibrahim after converting to Islam. Many records from the 1970s and early 1980s carry both names.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Dollar Brand / Abdullah Ibrahim records?
Yes, for example Dollar Brand – Anatomy Of A South African Village. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
