FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1971 German first edition on MPS/BASF, catalogue number CRM 755, in a gatefold sleeve. Later editions appeared in France and Japan, among others.
Why are European jazz musicians playing with Sugarcane Harris?
MPS producer Joachim Ernst Berendt put together a band from the European scene for the Villingen sessions: Frankfurt guitarist Volker Kriegel and the British players John Taylor and Tony Oxley.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Sugarcane Harris records?
Yes, for example Don "Sugarcane" Harris – I'm On Your Case and Don Sugarcane Harris – Keyzop. By Volker Kriegel we have Journal, among others. More in our Jazz-Rock collection.
