Description

E-Dancer – Pump The Move / Grab The Beat is a techno 12″ by Kevin Saunderson, who together with Juan Atkins and Derrick May is one of Detroit techno's "Belleville Three". As E-Dancer he first released both tracks in 1991 on his own KMS label; the B-side features "Grab The Beat" remixed by New York producer Joey Beltram. This copy is the 2004 US repress with catalogue number KMS-033 in a plain sleeve. You can tell the repress by the small "Kevin Saunderson" script under the artist name on the label.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No, it is the 2004 US repress on KMS with the same catalogue number KMS-033. The first edition came out in 1991.

What does Media NM- / generic sleeve mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means almost like new with hardly any signs of use. The record comes in a plain sleeve without artwork, so there is no cover grade. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Who is behind E-Dancer?
Kevin Saunderson, Detroit techno pioneer and founder of KMS. With his project Inner City he scored international hits in the late 1980s with "Big Fun" and "Good Life".

Where can I find more techno?
In our Techno and 12″ Maxi Singles collections.
