Edgar Froese – Ypsilon In Malaysian Pale (Vinyl LP | DE Original | 1975)

Edgar Froese – Ypsilon In Malaysian Pale is a solo album by the Tangerine Dream founder, recorded in June/July 1975 in Berlin and released in 1975 on Brain. Froese played all instruments himself; the two long pieces "Ypsilon In Malaysian Pale" and "Maroubra Bay" are slowly flowing Berlin School synthesizer landscapes. On offer is the German original edition on Brain (brain 1074).

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes – this is the German original edition on Brain (brain 1074). Brain repressed the album several times; the fourth German pressing from 1977, for example, has orange Brain labels with a label code (LC 3230) and a non-laminated sleeve. More in our Krautrock guide.

Is it "Ypsilon" or "Epsilon"?
Both exist: the album is also listed as "Epsilon In Malaysian Pale", while the German Brain edition is titled "Ypsilon In Malaysian Pale".

What does Media close to NM- / Sleeve VG+ mean?
The record is close to NM- (almost like new), the sleeve very good with light signs of use. More on our Vinyl Grading page.
