Elton John - A Single Man (Vinyl LP | US Picture Disc | 1978)

Elton John – A Single Man was released in 1978 and was his first album without longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin – most lyrics here were written by Gary Osborne. Melodic pop rock meets quieter moments; the best-known tracks include “Part-Time Love” and the instrumental “Song For Guy”. As a US picture disc, this edition is a real eye-catcher too.

On offer is the US original pressing from 1978 on MCA Records (MCAP-14951) as a picture disc with a cut-out corner.
